Our resort, The Travancore Heritage Beach Resort, sits at Chowara, just south of Kovalam, near Trivandrum in Kerala. The heritage houses stand atop a high cliff overlooking one of the country's widest beach strips, framed by coconut palms.

Kovalam is approximately 8 km from our resort, around a 15-minute drive. Kovalam Beach and its lighthouse are among the closest landmarks to us.

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, Thiruvananthapuram Railway Station and Thiruvananthapuram Bus Stand are the travel hubs listed for our resort.

Yes, direct beach access is one of our defining features. Our cliff-top grounds lead down to the shoreline, and beach access is included among our standard facilities.

As a beach resort near Kovalam, we combine direct beach access and sea-view rooms with a NABH-approved Ayurveda Centre and 2 restaurants. Our heritage timber houses are set on 15 acres, approximately 8 km from Kovalam.

A balcony is provided in our Premium Mansion and Premium Suite rooms, and a sit-out area in our Heritage Home, Premium Mansion, Heritage Premium, Premium Suite and Pool Mansion rooms. Beach Grove rooms are listed with neither.

Every room category accommodates 2 adults and 2 children. This applies from our 226 sq. ft. Heritage Home to our 495 sq. ft. Pool Mansion.

Every room includes air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, a television, a tea and coffee maker, a minibar, an in-room safe, a wardrobe, complimentary bottled water and complimentary breakfast. Bathrobes and bath slippers are provided on request, and laundry service is available at an additional charge.

Yes, complimentary breakfast is included with all 6 room categories, from Heritage Home to Pool Mansion.

We have 2 restaurants: Open House, our multi-cuisine restaurant in an outdoor setting, and the Ayurveda Restaurant with terrace seating. Both are on the resort grounds.
